To update the Microsoft Antivirus client software manually, users should follow the product documentation provided with the affected software. For systems that have been altered from the default installation, manual engine updates can be performed through the administrator tool. If the engine had been disabled, it can be re-enabled and then updated immediately by clicking “update now”.
