imake-talk is a mailing list for discussing software configuration with imake, a program used to help write portable software. As such, the list is intended for questions about how imake works, how the configuration files imake uses work, special problems that come up when configuring software on particular platforms, etc.
To subscribe to imake-talk, send an email message to imake-talk-request@primate.wisc.edu with the following request in the body (not the subject line) of the message:
subscribe imake-talk
This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to the imake-talk list. To subscribe to the digest form of the list instead, your request should say:
subscribe imake-digest
If you wish to subscribe another address instead, you can use a request of the form:
subscribe imake-talk other-address@your_site.your_net
Or:
subscribe imake-digest other-address@your_site.your_net
To unsubscribe from imake-talk, send an email message to imake-talk-request@primate.wisc.edu with the following request in the body (not the subject line) of the message:
unsubscribe imake-talk
This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send a command of the following form instead:
unsubscribe imake-talk other-address@your_site.your_net
If you are subscribed to imake-digest, substitute "imake-digest" for "imake-talk" in the requests shown above.
